The Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library will begin to offer homebound delivery services to eligible patrons beginning February 1.

To be eligible, patrons must meet the following criteria: Confinement to their home due to prolonged illness; Have a temporary or permanent physical or mental disability that prevents them from being able to come to the library.

The library may request verification of homebound status and applicants are required to have a library card in good standing. Staff is available to assist those who need to apply for a library card and/or homebound service.

The Friends of the Library recently made a $60,000 donation to the library for the purchase of a Neighborhood Enhancement Vehicle which will be used as a library on wheels. The vehicle is also intended for the use of library card sign-ups at schools and providing numerous services and programs within neighborhoods.

For more information about the library, contact the reference desk at (830) 258-1274 or visit the City of Kerrville’s website at www.kerrvilletx.gov.
