On Monday, January 18, at approximately 4:18 AM, Kerrville Police responded to a bank alarm at Kerr County Federal Credit Union located at 2335 Junction Highway, in Kerrville. Upon arrival, the officers observed the drive-thru ATM machine to be knocked over, and a set of tire tracks leading away from the site. The ATM machine appeared to have been pulled off of its base and the front of the machine was pulled open. The approximate value of all of the damage is said to be $80,000.

Surveillance video was reviewed and three suspects are seen on video attempting to steal the ATM. Two of the suspects were wearing all black clothing and gloves, while the third suspect was wearing grey sweatpants and a black Adidas hoodie. All of the suspects were wearing black face masks.

The suspects are shown on video arriving, prying the ATM open with crowbars, hooking a chain up to the ATM, and attempting to pull the machine out. The suspects were not able to access any cash from the ATM before fleeing the scene.

The vehicle used in the attempted theft has been identified and located, and was reported stolen prior to this event. The registered owner has been interviewed and is cooperating with this investigation, and they are not considered a suspect. The three suspects are believed to have stolen the vehicle before leaving the area in an as yet unidentified vehicle.

Kerrville Police are asking anyone with any information related to this crime to contact them at (830) 257-8181 or Kerr County Crime Stoppers at (830) 896-8477.
