Kerr County Commissioners’ Court hosting an emergency meeting Tuesday

The Kerr County Commissioners’ Court will be conducting an emergency open meeting Tuesday, February 23 on the first floor of the Kerr County Courthouse, 700 Main Street in Kerrville, at 9:30 a.m.. The meeting is expected to be viewable live-streamed on the county’s YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UC-LD3iT7VijiBWrOMplcjug.

There are three items listed on the meeting agenda:

1.1 Consider and discuss power failure report from Robert A. Lott III, CEO of Central Texas Electric Co-Op.

1.2 Consider, discuss and take appropriate action regarding the “Local State of Disaster due to Winter Weather” (proclamation) that was signed by Judge Rob Kelly on February 22, 2021.

1.3 Consider and discuss emergency assistance for Kerr County residents who have been impacted by the winter weather event.

Due to the cancelation of the regular commissioners’ court meeting that was scheduled for Monday, February 22, the matters listed for this particular date will be addressed at Monday’s meeting, March 1.
