The League of Women Voters – Hill Country Texas – is sponsoring a voter registration event Thursday, April 1, in the parking lot of the Cailloux Theater in Kerrville. Thursday is the last day to register to vote or change the address on a voter registration card in the state of Texas.

The League will also have election information regarding the two May elections in Kerr County: Kerrville City Council Place 1 and three spots for Ingram City Council.

Members of the League of Women Voters who are certified Volunteer Deputy Registrars in Kerr County will be conducting the registration. These members have studied the laws in the Texas Election Code and passed a test conducted by the Kerr County Election Department.

League of Women Voters of the Hill Country Texas has forty years of work focused on registering citizens to vote, educating citizens on candidates and issues, and encouraging citizens to vote. The League is a nonpartisan and nonprofit organization and does not endorse or oppose candidates for elected office.
