The Texas Department of Transportation has announced changes to the scheduled highway construction near Boerne due to anticipated inclement weather. The portion of roadwork involving Interstate 10 which was expected to continue Friday will be delayed until next weekend, meaning I10 will not be closed.

As of now, closures are set to begin Friday, May 21, at 9:00 p.m. and will end Monday, May 24, at 5:00 a.m.

This is all part of an ongoing construction project to the I10 frontage road that will require the demolition of a bridge on US-87.
