City of Boerne shares holiday cooking safety tips

The City of Boerne Utilities wants to remind all of us to not put holiday cooking safety on the back burner! Here are a few safety tips:

Don’t use extension cords.

Keep Cables away from hot areas.

Avoid water contact with outlets.

Don’t overload electrical circuits.

Plug counter appliances into GFI-protected outlets.

Never attempt to fry a turkey inside a house.

City of Kerrville announces Thanksgiving holiday closures

The City of Kerrville Municipal Offices and the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 25-26, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
