City of Kerrville’s upcoming Christmas and New Year holiday closures announced

The City of Kerrville municipal offices, including the city’s secretary’s office, will be closed Thursday, December 23 and Friday, December 24 in observance of the Christmas holiday, and Friday, December 31, in observance of the New Year holiday. Individuals needing assistance can email City Secretary Shelley McElhannon at shelley.mcelhannon@kerrvilletx.gov.

The Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library will be closed December 23-25, in observance of the Christmas holiday, and December 31-January 1, in observance of the New Year holiday.

The Parks and Recreation Department office, located at at Kerrville Schreiner Park, will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

The landfill and transfer station will close at 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, but will remain open during regularly scheduled hours on New Year’s Eve.
