Suspects arrested in local school threats case

On Wednesday, the Kerrville Police Department issued a press release regarding the threat of violence at Tivy High School last week, and at Hal Peterson Middle School earlier this week. 

The Kerrville Independent School District forwarded the KPD press release via email to all KISD parents and guardians.

The Kerrville Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit, working alongside School Resource Officers and School staff were able to quickly identify the suspects and determine that the threats were not viable.

The suspect in the Tivy High School incident has been charged with Terroristic Threat and False Alarm. 

The suspect in the Middle School Incident has been charged with Terroristic Threat.  

The suspect’s names will not be released due to them being juveniles.
