Gillespie County extends burn ban 90 days

Gillespie County has extended their county-wide burn ban for an additional 90 days due to the current extreme heat and ongoing dry conditions. 

This was a unanimous decision made by Gillespie County commissioners during their regularly scheduled Monday meeting.

The current burn ban prohibits any burning other than approved containers and those not abiding by the current restrictions of the burn ban can be punishable by fines up to $500.
