Fredericksburg’s Convention and Visitor Bureau has named Brady Closson as the city’s newest CVB President/CEO.  According to chair of the FCVB, Doug Cochran, “We are excited to bring Brady onboard to continue to move Fredericksburg and Gillespie County forward as one of the premier travel experiences in Texas.”

Previously, Closson helped serve as a consultant with the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureaus, and also oversaw numerous annual festivals.  He was also instrumental in the operation of the Grapevine Vintage Railroad.

Closson’s newest role with the City of Fredericksburg will see him leading team members in their overall mission and vision for the community, helping with the marketing of why it has become a favorite travel destination.

Closson will officially begin his new role on October 17, following Ernie Loeffler’s retirement after 24 years with the FCVB.  “It is truly an honor to join the exceptional team that Ernie has assembled to continue to promote and advance the mission of Fredericksburg, Gillespie County and the FCVB,” said Closson.
