Kerr County officials want to remind citizens that the Kerr County Tax Office, located in Suite 124 at the Kerr County Courthouse, is scheduled to be closed all day on Thursday, March 16. According to Kerr County Tax-Assessor-Collector Bob Reeves, “The updates to state computers are necessary and are being performed by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.”

The Ingram office underwent similar TxDMV upgrades in early February. “Due to the complexity of the project, we will need to close our doors that day,” said Reeves.

Additional staff will be stationed at the West Kerr County Courthouse Annex on March 16 to help assist county residents with their tax and vehicle registration needs. The main Kerr County Courthouse Tax Office is expected to reopen on Friday, March 17.
