The Salvation Army of Kerrville Social Services Office has announced that it is opening up a cooling station during its regular operating hours for those in individuals seeking a place to stay hydrated and indoors during the extreme heat. The Office is open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Salvation Army is also distributing free box fans while supplies last to individuals with medical conditions, the elderly, or families with young children. For more information, visit the Kerrville Salvation Army Social Services Office located at 855 Hays Street, in Kerrville.
