Emmie Rhude Named SCAC Golfer of the Week

KERRVILLE, TX: Emmie Rhude of Schreiner University Women’s Golf, a sophomore from Cave Creek, Ariz., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Wednesday, October 18 through Tuesday, October 24.

After opening with a 77 on Monday at the Hardin-Simmons/Abilene Intercollegiate, Rhude blistered the 5,711 yard-par 71 Diamondback Golf Course for six birdies on Tuesday en route to a final round 68 to give the sophomore a cumulative score of 145 (+3) and medalist honors with a one-shot victory over Southwestern’s Ryleigh Erickson.
