Volleyball Falls to Colorado College 3-1

KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Volleyball team lost their home conference match against Colorado College 3-1.

The Mountaineers were at home for their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) matchup against the Tigers from Colorado College.

Schreiner opened up the match strong as they took the first set 25-22. However, Colorado College would respond in force as they went on to win the following three sets 25-18, 25-23, 25-19, and the match 3-1.

Despite the loss, it was still a fantastic showing on both sides of the ball for graduate senior, Brooker Byer, who finished with match highs in kills (20) and digs (24). Also with a strong performance was senior, Mia Moreno, who finished with a team high 22 assists.
