2024 “Pot O’ Gold – GOLD RUSH” Contest Rules

Anyone who participates in the hunt for the certificate, redeemable for an ounce of gold, must agree to the following rules:

Participant will not be able to redeem the certificate unless you have read and agree to these rules before you participated in this contest.

The JAM Broadcasting Gold Rush, powered by Gold Cup Pawn will begin on March 19, 2024, and continue until the certificate is found and redeemed to JAM Broadcasting.  First clue will be given at the live Gold Cup remote on March 19, 2024 from 4p – 5p.

Each weekday morning, beginning on March 20, 2023, the morning shows on 94.3 Rev-FM, 99.1 The Buck, and 103.7 MikeFM will give out a new clue to help listeners find the certificate On-Air, Clues will be delayed when posting them online to the JAM Broadcasting website we will post a schedule where listeners can get the next day’s clue later that day directly from the leprechaun in person when we have a sponsor clue drop.

On March 19, 21, 26, 28 and April 2 and 5, the JAM Broadcasting Leprechaun will show up at a different location in Kerrville or the surrounding area and give out the next day’s clue early in person. For a list of locations and times the JAM Broadcasting Leprechaun will be giving clues go to JAMBroadcasting.com.

Participants who get the clue early in person from the Leprechaun agree not to post the clue on social media or on any website/message board etc. If the clue is found posted, the poster is disqualified from the contest.

The announcements of clues on air and in person will continue until a certificate redeemable for one ounce of gold is found somewhere in the Kerrville or the surrounding area.

The certificate can be in any form and will be in a public place outdoors.

The certificate IS NOT ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. It is hidden in a safely accessible area on public land.

When a participant finds the certificate, please call JAM Broadcasting at 830-896-1230 or bring the certificate by the studios at 2125 Sidney Baker St, Kerrville, TX during normal business hours.

Once we have verified that the certificate has been located, we will announce the end of the contest.

The clues will also be added to the JAM Broadcasting website after they are announced on-air. There will be a delay in posting the clues online to encourage you to visit the early clue locations and listen on-air the following day. There could be a 4-5 day delay of posting the clues online.

JAM Broadcasting is not responsible or liable for the actions or safety of any participant involved in the contest. Please be safe and we encourage you to pick up any litter you may see in our public spaces! Enjoy our great outdoors!

At no time should a property be damaged. The certificate is hidden outdoors in a public space and is hidden in such a way where participants will not need to disassemble any feature or move any object to retrieve. The certificate will never be hidden in a way where ornamental plants or garden beds will need to be trampled upon. It is in an easily accessible place.

Participants are encouraged to remember these simple rules so that our public spaces can remain safe and fun for all people who enjoy.

There will only be one gold winner for this promotion. The winner will receive one ounce of gold on April 5, 2024.

The leprechaun has left blue registration boxes at all Clue Stop locations leading up to the gold giveaway on April 5th. Participants can register to win one of two $1000 cash prizes. Each participant may enter to win one time per location. For a list of prize box locations go to JAMBroadcasting.com. The cash prize drawing will be held at Gravity Check Saloon on April 5^th from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

There will be two winners of $1,000 CASH that will be drawn on April 5, 2024. 

The participants must be present to win the CASH prize. 

Both $1,000 CASH winners will be required to complete a W-9 Form and will receive a 1099 Form at the end of the tax year.  

If the certificate for the gold is not found by April 5, 2024, JAM Broadcasting will release more clues until the certificate is found.
