Schreiner University triumphed over Pacific University (Oregon) in an exciting basketball matchup, securing a 85-83 victory. The team’s strong performance was led by Kamden Ross, who played 38 minutes and contributed 28 points on 9-of-16 shooting, including 10 free throws on 12 attempts. Dylan Mackey was another standout, scoring 22 points with 8-of-19 shooting and grabbing 14 rebounds, showcasing his all-around game.
Dylan Snow provided a significant spark off the bench, going a perfect 5-for-6 from the field and 5-for-6 from beyond the arc to finish with 15 points in just 20 minutes of play. Beau Cervantes and CJ Ward also played key roles, with Cervantes contributing 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Ward added 2 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
The team collectively shot 46% from the field (29-63), and 47% from three-point range (9-19), in addition to making 18 of 24 free throws (75%). The Schreiner squad dominated the glass, finishing with 35 rebounds, and was able to hold off Pacific University’s efforts, earning a big time win.
Other contributors included Charley Reedo (5 points), Mario Johnson (3 points), and Justin Gooden (2 points). Blake Washington, Cristian Guajardo, and others provided valuable minutes off the bench.
Overall, Schreiner’s balanced offensive attack and strong rebounding helped secure a convincing victory against Pacific University (Oregon).
