Last October, Shawn Mendes performed at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater. Now fans who weren’t able make the show will be able to enjoy a virtual reality version of it on Meta Quest.
Shawn Mendes: Red Rocks Live in VR will premiere in Meta Horizon Music Valley on Jan. 24 at 5 p.m. PT. It’ll be accessible to Meta Quest 3S, Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro owners, but also online and via the Meta Horizon mobile app. You can RSVP for the event now.
“Red Rocks was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen in my life, it was absolutely stunning,” says Shawn about the original concert. “That night was so special to me, and I’m so happy to be able to bring it to those who couldn’t be there in person.”
The VR version of the 83-minute concert, which Shawn played to promote his 2024 album, Shawn, will make you feel like you’re onstage with Shawn, according to a press release. The set list features songs from the new album, as well as past hits like “Stitches,” “In My Blood” and “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back.”
