Rascal Flatts and Jonas Brothers have landed on country radio and digital platforms with their new single, “I Dare You.”

Written by Nick JonasDan + Shay‘s Shay Mooney and others, the upbeat number implores a heartbroken person to give love a second chance and knock down the walls around their heart — to love someone again.

“Oh yeah, I know you’re careful/ ‘Cause you been broken before/ You’re almost there/ I know you wanna cross that line,” goes the pre-chorus, before the harmony-rich chorus kicks in.

“So I dare you/ I dare you to love somebody like me/ Yeah, I dare you/ I dare you to let me be your everything/ Oh, I dare you/ I dare you to run and, baby, don’t look back/ I know it scares you ’cause no one prepared you/ But, baby, I dare you/ Baby, I dare you,” Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox sings.

“We’re so excited to kick off this next chapter of Rascal Flatts with this single, working with Kevin, Joe and Nick is such a blast, they’re class acts,” says the group’s Jay DeMarcus.

“I think this song fits perfectly into our catalogue while also showing off something new and exciting,” he adds. “We can’t wait to share it with our fans on the road!”

Limited tickets are available for Rascal Flatts’ upcoming Life Is A Highway Tour. For a full list of dates, visit rascalflatts.com.
