The Mountaineers carried that momentum into Sunday’s competition. On Feb. 8 in Hunter Seat Flat, Ellie Slate earned a first-place finish in Open. Boisvert and Turner each placed second in Limit, while Maher added a third-place finish in Open. Kaaiohelo and Swavely both took fifth in Limit and Intro, respectively, and Foulks (Intermediate) and Rangel (Novice) each finished sixth.

In Sunday’s Over Fences competition, Foulks delivered a first-place ride in Intermediate. Boisvert earned second in Limit, while Slate and Maher both placed fifth in Intermediate.
