The second annual Cody Johnson Charity Golf Tournament raised $298,000 for various charities.

Held Dec. 8 at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, the event’s golfing and auction raised money for three organizations: the Different Day Foundation, which Cody and his wife, Brandi, founded; Resistol’s Cowboys Who Care Foundation; and Wrangler’s Bucking Cancer initiative.

“For me, when you get an opportunity like this to give back, it’s a big deal,” Cody shared in his speech at the event. “When you have a driving force, like these brands behind you, it’s hard not to step up and make a difference.”

He adds, “From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone involved.”

Cody’s currently on his Leather Deluxe Tour as his Carrie Underwood-assisted single, “I’m Gonna Love You,” approaches the top 10 of the country charts.
