Teddy Swims‘ new album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2), is out in a couple of weeks, and it’s safe to say that the songs on this one will be a bit different — because he’s in love.
Teddy has been dating his girlfriend, fellow musician Raiche Wright, since last year and posted a gushing tribute on her on Instagram Tuesday for her 29th birthday.
Sharing a carousel of photos of them together, and even one of her as a little girl, Teddy wrote, “My sweet girl @mynameisraiche you are truly the divine feminine! You are the most perceptive and caring person I’ve ever met.”
He continued, “You’re so beautiful inside and out. So nurturing yet so tough. You coddle me and challenge me. I’m looking forward to loving you forever and ever and I’m so thankful and lucky to call you mine. I love you.”
He concluded, “happy birthday angel! 29 is going to bring you everything you desire, need, and so much more! I’m so happy to be by your side and support you through it all.”‘
Teddy will release a romantic new song Friday from his upcoming album called “Are You Even Real,” which Raiche might have inspired.
