Try not to ‘Lose Control’ at this news: Teddy Swims is going to be a dad

A day after Teddy Swims wished his girlfriend Raiche Wright a happy birthday, she’s confirmed that the couple is expecting their first child.

Wright, who’s also a singer, posted a photo showing herself and Teddy in a chair on a beach; she’s wearing a bikini and showing off a baby bump, which the “Lose Control” singer is resting his hands on. She wrote, “We can’t wait to meet you baby.” Teddy also posted the photo on his own account.

When the two, who began dating last year, attended the CMA Awards in November, Raiche had her hands on her belly and appeared to be sporting a baby bump, but didn’t confirm her pregnancy until now.

There’s no word on when the baby is due, but Teddy’s new album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2), is out Jan. 24.
