After a CodeRed alert was issued Tuesday announcing that Kerr County was opening its first round of vaccine clinic registrations, all available slots were taken within one minute. “The available appointments were gone within one minute. It was incredible,” according to Kerr County Emergency Management Coordinator Dub Thomas.
Thomas said that the county has a huge number of people wanting vaccines, and there was a limited number of vaccines in this week’s shipment. Kerr County officials are hopeful that there will be another shipment of vaccines next week, and county health leaders want to see that everyone who wants a vaccine can get a shot.
