The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals in Kerrville on drug and weapons charges over the course of two consecutive days, March 30-31, 2021, according to a press release.
Kerrville resident Rebecca Kelly Hutton, 35, was arrested in the 100 block of Amelia Court. Her charges include Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1. She was also found in possession of prescription drugs, ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and a loaded firearm, all within a Drug Free Zone.
Victor Barron Montanez, 45, of Kerrville was arrested in the 1500 block of Junction Highway on charges of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1. Upon further search, KCSO Narcotics Investigators discovered 45 grams of methamphetamine, a large quantity of cash and equipment for drug distribution.
Hutton’s bond was set at $35,000. Bond for Montanez was set at $55,000.
A statement from Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha said, “The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office will continue our work to disrupt drug supply chains that harm our residents and community at large. Our investigators do outstanding work every single day to reduce the drug threat on Kerr County streets.”
