Early, in-person voting in the November 2 Constitutional Amendment Election will begin Monday, October 18. Kerr County voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballots on 8 propositions, and some residents in the vicinity of Center Point and Hunt will be voting for or against establishing a new Emergency Service District for their area.
Registered voters in Kerr County can vote early at the Hill Country Youth Event Center, 3785 TX 27 in Kerrville, or at the Kerr County Courthouse Annex in Ingram, 3350 Junction Highway. Citizens are reminded that the early voting that was to be held at the Ingram Independent School District Administration Building has been changed to the Kerr County Ingram Annex.
Early, in-person voting will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from October 18-22, and on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The final week of early voting will be October 25 – 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on October 28 – 29.
Kerr County registered voters may request a ballot by mail if: They are 65 years of age or older; Disabled; Will be out of the country during early voting and on election day; Are confined in jail but are legally eligible to vote. Applications for a ballot by mail can be submitted via email: breeves@co.kerr.tx.us, or by regular U.S. Postal Service mail addressed to: Bob Reeves, Kerr County Tax Assessor-Collector, 700 Main Street, Suite124, Kerrville, TX 78028, no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, October 22.
