The temporary waiver of certain vehicle title and registration requirements will end at midnight April 14, according to Kerr County Tax Assessor-Collector Bob Reeves, whose offices are ready to help motorists complete their transactions before the deadlines. Reeves said, “Any Kerr County citizen who has not renewed their vehicle registration sticker is encouraged to do so between now and April 14. It is not necessary to wait until the deadline to complete any overdue transactions.”
Texas Governor Greg Abbott offered the waivers to registration and titling requirements during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to balance safety of Texans while still continuing vital state services.
