The Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library has released their schedule of events for the month of April with activities for all ages to enjoy beginning with an Eclipse Kick-Off Party this Saturday, April 1. The event begins at 10:30 a.m. with Karen Guerriero of Kerrville Pets Alive with a discussion on the impact of natural events on animals. At 2 p.m. Mark Ward from the Hill Country Astronomers will be sharing his expertise about lunar and solar eclipses and how to safely view these events. There will be five sessions throughout the day and citizens are asked to call to register beforehand.
Other activities planned for children include a Yoga Storytime, Disney 100th Anniversary Party and numerous Art & Science meetings. Adults are encouraged to learn more about the National Plant Society of Texas via future library meetings and film exhibits planned for Wednesday, April 19. The library will also be continuing their Friday book club meetings which are always scheduled at noon.
