Sections of Commerce Street to be temporarily closed

City of Kerrville officials have announced that starting Monday, July 24, a boring crew will be mobilizing for the installation of a 30-inch bore for the Knapp Road sewer project. The bore will be located at the intersection of Commerce Street and Highway 27, and the installation is expected to be completed in six weeks.

Due to the scheduled construction on the upcoming sewer project, a portion of Commerce Street will be closed for thru traffic. Citizens are advised to take note of construction areas as work progresses for any lane closures and detours.
