Concerts by the River series kicks off Friday night

The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department’s “Concerts by the River” series continues Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m. in Louise Hays Park, 202 Thompson Drive.  Citizens and visitors are invited to come out and enjoy the river views and live country music provided by the Luiz Hayze Band and Surrender Hill, and the event is free.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, blankets, flashlights, and bug spray.  Food and drink will be available for purchase from Smack Shack.  Glass containers and smoking (including e-cigarettes) are not permitted in Parks pursuant to city ordinance.
