A Bandera County man was arrested on allegations that he solicited sex online from an underage girl. According to a press release, Matthew Louis Heimer, 33, of Pipe Creek, was arrested following an investigation by the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Division.
KCSO states that Heimer had communications of a sexual nature with an undercover officer which led to a meeting in a parking lot located in the 1400 block of State Highway 173. As officers attempted to stop the suspect’s vehicle, the suspect took off and led law enforcement authorities on a 33-mile chase, reaching speeds over 100 mph. The chase ended in Bandera County after authorities planted spikes on a road.
Heimer is currently charged with one count of online solicitation of a minor and one count of evading arrest. He is currently being held in the Kerr County Jail with bonds totaling $60,000.
