Upper level students planning on taking the ACT test will be seeing some new changes beginning April 2025. According to the CEO of ACT Janet Godwin, there will be more time per question, and the number of questions is being reduced from 215 to 171. The ACT will also be making the science section optional and integrating experimental questions into existing sections. This follows past changes recently made, including offering a digital version of the test.
