The City of Kerrville is reminding organizations and businesses that its 2024 Street Banner Sign Up Day is coming up on Monday, December 9. The lottery-style scheduling event will be held in the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library’s downstairs meeting room, 505 Water Street, beginning at 10 a.m.
Any organization is invited to this event for the opportunity to select a location to display a banner over the streets of Kerrville to advertise an event, with six locations to choose from. Banners will be installed for a period not to exceed three weeks, and each organization is allowed two banners per event with a limit of two events per pear. If space permits, additional reservations may be made after January 1, 2025.
The price for banner installation and permit is $85 and must be paid at the time the application is accepted. Reservations will not be made without payment. The City will accept payments in the form of cash, check, or card. A 3% processing fee will be assessed on all card transactions. Checks are to be made payable to the City of Kerrville.
Applications and banner details are available at the reception desk at City Hall prior to the sign-up date, or can be found online at https://kerrvilletx.gov/1404/Banner-Permit. Reservations will be conducted using a lottery method. Those interested are asked to arrive promptly at 10 a.m. in order to be present for registration.
