‘Shrek the Musical’ continues through next weekend in Fredericksburg

Fredericksburg Theater Company’s production of ‘Shrek the Musical’ continues through next weekend at the Steve W. Shepherd Theater, 1668 U.S. 87 South.  Performances Friday and Saturday begin at 7:30 p.m. while Sunday’s matinee starts at 2 p.m.

According to theater-goer Lindy Segall, “The brilliant casting, musical direction and choreography blend beautifully, while costuming, scenic design, lighting and sound production together rival shows I’ve enjoyed in big city, uber-high dollar venues.”  He went on to applaud the performance of FTC newcomer TJ Evans and his portrayal of Donkey.

Jeryl Hoover, Executive Director of FTC, added, “If we’re to thrive long-term as a cultural arts icon in this community, our success will depend primarily on bringing only the very best performances to the stage.”
