City of Kerrville Public Works employees Morgan Vollmar and Marcus Mader recently recovered a 1990 Kansas State University class ring while inspecting the city’s wastewater collection system. Persistent sleuthing by Assistant Wastewater Collections Superintendent Louis Fender uncovered that the ring belonged to KSU alumni Randy Fox, now a Washington state resident who lived and worked in Kerrville in the mid-1990’s and lost the ring in 1996.
The ring has now been returned to Fox, who expressed his appreciation in a call to Fender.
The City thanks Morgan, Marcus and Louis for their determination to see the ring get back to its owner!
