Schreiner Falls To East Texas Baptist

Kerrville, Texas — September 13, 2025 — Schreiner Women’s Soccer battled hard but came up short on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 3–0 decision at East Texas Baptist.

After a scoreless first half, the Tigers broke through in the 65th minute when Ryan McClain found the back of the net off an assist from Caroline Smith. ETBU added two more goals in quick succession, with Giselle Laredo scoring in the 75th minute and Mallory Duncan sealing the result just three minutes later.

The Mountaineers generated several quality chances throughout the match, finishing with seven shots and nine corner kicks, while holding 60% of the possession. Abby De Hoyos and Haley Withers each placed shots on frame, while Katelyn Boyd nearly converted late with a strike in the 89th minute.

Goalkeeper Jayden Ford turned away three saves in 90 minutes of action.
