Kerrville library marks 25th anniversary of 9-11on Friday

The Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library invites the public to attend a very special program set for Friday, Sept. 11, marking 25 years since the events of Sept. 11, 2001.  Retired New York City Fire Department Capt. William Groneman will share his firsthand experiences from Sept. 11 and the weeks that followed, offering a personal perspective on one of the defining events in modern American history.

Groneman is the author of “September 11: A Memoir,” and copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.  The program is free and open to the public.
