City of Kerrville announces traffic signal repairs this week

Motorists traveling through the intersection of Holdsworth Boulevard and Cailloux Boulevard may notice unusual signal timing over the next several days.

The traffic signal is currently operating on a temporary set sequence while the City of Kerrville Public Works Department addresses a malfunction with the vehicle detection and monitoring system.  Because of this, the light may cycle even when no vehicles are present on the intersecting roadway.

Repairs are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 1.  In the meantime, drivers are asked to remain alert, use extra caution and allow additional travel time through the area.
