The next session of Water Wise Kerr County: A Community Learning Series at the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, from 4:15-5:45 p.m. and will be conducted in the First Floor Meeting Room, 505 Water Street in Kerrville.

This month’s discussion will focus on Chapter 3, “Dolphins in the Desert,” from Charles Fishman’s The Big Thirst.  Special guest Tara Bushnoe, general manager of the Upper Guadalupe River Authority, will share her perspective on local water resources and issues affecting Kerr County.

No expertise is needed to attend, and participants may attend a single session or the full monthly series.  Space is limited to 20 participants, and registration is required.

To register or learn more, call the library’s reference desk at (830) 258-1274, stop by the library, or visit the library’s online events calendar.
