Olympic Pool set to open Memorial Day weekend

Swimming season is officially here as the Kerrville Olympic Pool is set to open Memorial Day weekend beginning Saturday, May 29. Open swim hours for the summer are from noon-6 p.m., Tuesdays through Sundays, with Mondays closed for scheduled weekly maintenance.

In addition to availability for open swim time there are numerous opportunities for swim lessons and rental opportunities beginning June 1. It is recommended to sign up quickly as time slots fill up fast.

Regular admission to the pool is $1 daily, and the Olympic pool will remain open until August 13. For more information contact the Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department at (830) 257-7300 or visit the city’s website at www.kerrvilletx.gov.
