In Kerr County:  fire officials want to reiterate to everyone that they must please adhere to ongoing Burn Bans.
Local fire departments have been quite busy lately:  the Center Point Volunteer Fire Dept. has responded to 6 burn ban violations in the past 2 weeks;
Ingram VFD has been dispatched to 4 incidents in recent weeks.
Please remember. the City of Kerrville Parks and Rec. has announced that no ash-producing fires are permittable within any of the city’s parks.
This announcement includes free-standing grills and also prohibits smoking, including e-cigarettes.
Forecasts are predicting elevated fire dangers Thursday throughout much of the holiday weekend.
