Area high schools gearing up for graduation ceremonies

Thousands of Hill Country seniors are gearing up for their final act as high school students as they graduate this weekend.

Tivy High School’s commencement ceremony is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Tivy Antler Stadium on Friday, May 23.

Harper and Medina High School’s seniors will begin walking their school’s respective stages at 7 p.m. on May 23.

Gates open Thursday, May 22, at 8 p.m. at Boerne ISD Stadium for graduation ceremonies celebrating Boerne High School seniors.  Cameras are permitted, but no umbrellas, airhorns/noisemakers or outside food/beverages allowed.

Comfort High School sees its seniors graduate Friday, at 8 p.m. at Comfort’s Bobcat Stadium.  Four tickets per graduate for track seating; stadium seating is open.

Boerne ISD Stadium is the site on May 23 for Champion High School’s seniors’ graduation ceremonies.  Gates will open at 6:45 p.m.; no tickets are needed to attend.  Cameras are permitted, but no umbrellas, airhorns/noisemakers or outside food/beverages allowed.

Geneva High School graduation is set for Saturday, May 24, at 10 a.m. at University Methodist Church, 5084 De Zavala Road, San Antonio.  47 seniors will walk in this, Geneva’s 14th graduating class.
