Hey, if you look amazing on your birthday, why not document it with a nude photo?

That’s what Christina Aguilera did when she turned 44 on Dec. 18. The mother of two posted a photo on Instagram that she captioned “Birthday Suit #44.” It shows her posing naked, wearing nothing but a leather cap, belt and high heels, with her hand covering her top and her legs positioned so you don’t see the naughty bits.

It’s been an eventful year for Christina, who celebrated the 25th anniversary of her debut album by starring in a Spotify Anniversaries special highlighting the project. It featured a duet of “What a Girl Wants” with Sabrina Carpenter, who then invited the Grammy winner to join her onstage during her Short n’ Sweet tour on Nov. 15. The two reprised their duet and also sang Christina’s “Ain’t No Other Man.” Also in November, Christina sang at a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris.

As for new music, in August she told PAPER magazine, “Music is dying to come out of me. At this point, there is a new me that has been growing and building, and it is so ready to emerge. It’s going to take a little longer than I wanted it to, but it is what it is.”

Promising that “it’s coming,” she added, “I believe that it will be the most authentic work I’ve ever done.”

Christina’s most recent album is 2022’s Aguilera, which was her second Spanish-language release. Her most recent English-language album was 2018’s Liberation.
