The City of Kerrville and the Salvation Army Kroc Center of Kerrville are pleased to announce a formal agreement, recently approved by the City Council, aimed at providing uninterrupted aquatic recreation for the community this summer. As the City’s pool undergoes scheduled facility enhancements, this strategic partnership ensures that families and individuals have continued access to high-quality swimming amenities.
Under this new collaborative framework, Kerrville residents will be able to utilize the Kroc Center’s premier indoor aquatic facility for a nominal entry fee of just $1. This special access will be available Monday through Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., beginning May 23 and concluding August 15, 2026.
The City is providing the necessary funding to bridge the gap in costs, prioritizing affordable and accessible recreational opportunities for all residents during the warmest months of the year.
The Kroc Center is widely recognized for its state-of-the-art facilities and its dedication to fostering a healthy, active community. By opening their doors to the broader public through this agreement, the Center continues to demonstrate its role as a cornerstone of community support and engagement in Kerrville.
The ongoing improvements to the City’s public pool remain on schedule, with the renovation project expected to reach completion before the end of 2026. Once finalized, the updated facilities will offer modern amenities designed to serve the community for decades to come. In the interim, the City encourages residents to enjoy the world-class swimming environment provided by the Kroc Center.
