City of Kerrville announces temporary road closures

The City of Kerrville wants citizens to be aware of upcoming road and lane closures due to street reconstruction pursuant to the 2019 Bond Streets Reconstruction project. Minor activities such as locating existing utilities have begun in these areas.

The following streets will be affected: Cottage Street; Hillside Drive; Wallace Street; West Barnett Street; McFarland Drive; Remschel Avenue; Barnett Street. Accommodations will be made for local residences, emergency services and solid waste services as needed, and alternate routes will be provided.

The construction launches the second street reconstruction event in association with the project, which was funded as part of a $10.5 million bond issuance for street and drainage improvements authorized by the Kerrville City Council in August 2019.
