City of Kerrville announces Thanksgiving Holiday closures; Waste Collection schedule

The City of Kerrville is announcing Thanksgiving holiday closures, as well as adjustments to trash and recycling services for the week of Nov. 24-29.  Additionally, Municipal Court will re-open within the new Public Safety Facility, located at 365 Clearwater Paseo, at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 1.

No trash or recycling will be collected on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27.  Thursday trash collection will occur Fri., Nov. 28.  Friday recycling collection will occur Sat., Nov. 29.

The Landfill will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27 and reopen Friday, Nov. 28 at 7:30 a.m.  For collection questions regarding this advisory or temporary changes to residents, contact:

The Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library will be closed Thurs.-Sat., Nov. 27-29 and reopen Monday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m.

City Hall and the City Secretary’s Office will be closed Thurs.-Fri., Nov. 27-28 and reopen Mon., Dec. 1 at 8 a.m.  Anyone needing assistance can email Shelley.mcelhannon@kerrvilletx.gov.

The Parks and Recreation Department and Kerrville-Schreiner Park will be closed Thurs.-Fri., Nov. 27-28 and reopen Sat., Nov. 29 at 8 a.m.

The Scott Schreiner Municipal Golf Course is closed Thurs., Nov. 27 and will reopen Fri., Nov. 28 at 7 a.m.
