City of Kerrville announces Thanksgiving waste collection schedule

The City of Kerrville Public Works Department wants to inform residents of a few upcoming changes to the regular collection schedule for trash and recycling over the Thanksgiving holiday.

No collections will occur on Thanksgiving Day.  All households regularly scheduled to have trash collected on Thursday, November 23 will instead have their waste removed on Friday, November 24.  Households scheduled to have recycling collected on Friday, November 24, will instead have their recycling carts serviced on Saturday, November 25.  Republic Services will only collect trash that is placed inside your designated waste removal cart.

The landfill and transfer station will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.  The facilities will resume normal business hours on Friday, November 24 at 7:30 a.m.
