The City of Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department will be accepting Christmas trees for recycling beginning December 26, 2021 to January 16, 2022. The designated drop-off area will be located in Lehmann-Monroe Park, 200 Park Lane, near the Park Lane/La Casa Street park entrance.

Christmas trees should be free of all ornaments, hangers, icicles, strings, glass, metal and plastics and the service is free of charge. Trees that were not sold from retailers will be accepted as long as all ornamentation is removed from the tree prior to drop-off.

The City of Kerrville Public Works Department’s Solid Waste Division will be conducting a special holiday trash collection which will be offered to residents on their regular trash pickup day during the week of December 27. This special collection is intended for bagged trash in addition to a resident’s regular trash service.

For additional information regarding either the Christmas tree recycling or the solid waste holiday schedule, visit www. kerrville.tx.gov.
