City of Kerrville has plenty on tap for family fun this weekend

The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department has announced it has two family-friendly events slated for this weekend, beginning with Friday night’s “Movies in the Park” series. “Lady and the Tramp” (G) will be featured on July 21, at dark in Louise Hays Park, 202 Thompson Drive, at dark. In the case of rainy weather, the movie will be moved underneath the large pavilion. The movie is free for all attendees.

The Olympic Pool in Kerrville will be hosting its final “Family Swim Night” event on Saturday, July 22, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Admission is $2 and includes a hot dog, chips, and a drink while supplies last. The Olympic Pool is located at 601 Olympic Drive, in Kerrville.
