City of Kerrville hosting reception for its new city manager October 9

The City of Kerrville is inviting all citizens to a welcome reception for new City Manager Dalton Rice on October 9, from 5-7 p.m., at the Arcadia Theater, 717 Water Street.

Rice has served more than 13 years as a member of the United States Army and 8 years in the municipal government.  He previously served as the city manager at Morgan’s Point in central Texas.

Rice has a bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina University, a master’s from George Washington University, and is a Certified Public Manager.

Rice will officially begin as Kerrville’s city manager on Monday, October 2.
