City of Kerrville to charge 3-percent fee on credit card transactions starting October 1

Starting October 1, the City of Kerrville will begin charging a three-percent fee on all credit card transactions, which includes purchases that are completed in person, over the phone, or online.  This new fee is due to the rising costs associated with credit card transactions.

Utility customers can still opt to take advantage of the bank draft option for utility bills, or make payments via cash or check.  Individuals interested in adding the bank draft option to their accounts can call (830) 258-1504, or email utility.billing@kerrvilletx.gov.
